We are using Kickstarter to help raise funds to continue to publish Megawords (and a do a few other Megawords related projects) throughout the next year.

WITH YOUR HELP MEGAWORDS WILL: 1. Be able to print 2 issues of the magazine through 2011. Each issue is usually between 48 and 96 pages, mostly color, and printed in various sizes and on different paper stock. We choose the size an stock that suits our current subject matter, and helps us tell the story best.

2. Create a site-specific installation project in Philadelphia. Along with our collaborators on both coasts, we will put together a public art installation in Philadelphia. You may have seen what we did with the Megawords storefront http://megawordsmagazine.com/projects/sample-project and our other projects here http://megawordsmagazine.com/projects. These will give you a taste for what we are planning.

3. Pay for smaller operational costs like our web server, distribution, shipping, packaging etc. There are a lot of small costs associated with running an independent, advertisement free magazine, and having these costs taken care of will help us focus on the business of putting together the best publication possible.
